FINALLY! An R-rated HORROR!!

Witch
ONE WORD:
Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.

The title says it all. You will be watching a movie about a witch,

I will not be writing any spoilers in this blog, because I dont think this movie deserves any!

This past Saturday, I had a date night with my boyfriend, and we saw the movie Witch, the last showing (9:30). This movie, as interpreted by the trailer, is a horror classic about a Witch. In the trailer, you can see that the movie focuses on one family and that the movie is somewhat "in the olden days". The family wears old clothes, and the physical appearances of the characters already tell the audience that the movie will probably be set in the earlier times.

I, honestly, am a horror fanatic. I LOVE scary movies. I was the kid in the theater always too young for the horror, but always there anyway (with my family). BUT, I was different. Obviously, I was invested every minute and second, not crying for a pickle and yelling for candy. I watched the movie. I sat there for the two hours and listened;  unlike the other children.... and some adults. ANYWHO... back to the movie.

This is a good movie. The family is terrorized by a witch, and it's simply just a great movie. A witch  horror hasn't come out since Blare witch project and this one surpasses that dumb movie in quality by a landslide (Blare witch project is about lost witches walking around a forest in a circle for 2 hours).

The one small helpful spoiler I will provide for anyone wanting to see this movie is:

Go prepared to pay attention.

DO NOT GO WITH YOUR TALKATIVE AUNT MARTHA.

My boyfriend, Daniel, appreciates a good movie, and I'm a little glad I didn't take my sister, Tori, A.K.A movie ruiner, to this specific one.
Daniel,
I was a little surprised to see that the language used in the movie was the language of those times. Even though, I had to pay extra attention, and there were some bits that were hard to comprehend, I appreciated the different words that I dont hear often (thy, thee, etc) and I feel that the language INCREASED the authenticity of the production. It was a very nice, witch horror movie that had several CREEEEEEPY scenes throughout. And when I say creepy, (believe me, I LOVE horror) this movie was AWESOME CREEPY.
Some scenes were so gory that the man a row below kept hiding behind his shirt,
WITCH I thought was pretty funny.
^=FUN WORD PLAY

I might have not personally liked the ending, but I sure caught myself at the edge of my seat the entire first two hours, so I would give this movie a 2 thumbs up.. Witch may be one of the "CREEPIEST" horrors I've seen in a while. Def will be buying to own, NOT A RENTAL!:)

If your looking for a quick escape from reality or your like me, a movie buff thats been waiting for a good creeper, GO SEE IT!

Here's the trailer :)
